Q: When the bride leaves the building at the end of the event, are guests allowed to throw rice?
A: No, rice is not allowed to be thrown on the grounds. However, we do permit rose petals to be used if you use the auditorium exit. Some brides prefer for bubbles to be blown, which is lovely and does not make a mess and allows you to exit from the front entrance.
Q: Is there a room the bride can use to refresh and change clothing in?
A: Yes. On the second floor of the house, our large Board Room provides a unique, elegant
place for the bride to catch her breath and freshen up in front of a large gold mirror.
Q: Are snacks and drinks for the bride allowed in the Board Room:
A: No, only water is permitted.
Q: How early can the house be open the day of the wedding or reception?
A: That is up to you. Simply contact Becky Thomas (ext. 13) to set a time.
Q: Can a florist or caterer bring items to the house prior to the day of the event?
A: That depends on what other events are scheduled. Call Becky to discuss.
Q: Do you have handicapped access to your facility?
A: Absolutely. If you face the house from the outside, there is a door on the far right with a ramp.
Q: Which caterers do you like to work with best?
A: Each caterer on our list is more than qualified. They have worked in the house for years and are
familiar with it.
